To use SGS you must be running Windows 95/98/NT or equivalent. The software should be run once to configure everything, exited, and then re-launched (if running for the first time) Your modem should be in 9600/FSK KISS mode. When the software prompts for a file initially, it will actually only "append" to the file you type in, so you can use the same file twice without erasing it. Here's SGS version 1.3. The fixes include: - Nasty missing comma bug before uptime fixed. - Uptime field now shows only days/hours:minutes:seconds. - uptime days, hours, minutes, seconds replace simple uptime. - A bug that may have been causing the crashes has been squished. - A dialog now exists that stores a user's callsign and UTC offset. - UTC offset is used when calculating the time of recieved packets. - User's callsign has been added. It appears on the first line of the telemetrey file. - All configuration info now store in the registry... no more misplaced .cfg files!! Things still in the works : - Command line filenames don't work as advertised. Watch for them in the next version. - Still not sure how to cause auto-shutdown from WISP. - Still looking for a suitable fix to user confusion about the dialog on startup. Try it out, let me know of any problems... :) -Chris Bond
