Downlink 29.350 to 29.420 Mhz (10 Meter Band)
Modulation Linear Transponder will support SSB, CW, FM, AM AFSK 300 bps Hf Packet Compatible telemetry downlink

Mode L Transponder
Uplink 1,266.684 to 1,266.690 MHz (23cm band)
Modulation FSK digital data at 9600 bps
Uplink deviation must be approximately 10 KHz
Downlink 437.910 Mhz (70 cm band)
Many ground stations are reporting a center frequency of approximtaely 3-5 KHz above this (437.914 Mhz)
Modulation FSK digital data at 9600 bps

Data Rate: 300 bits/sec AFSK packet data 9600 bits/sec or 57,600 bits/sec

RF output per transponder will be 3 watts average and 15 watts max

To communicate with SEDSAT you will need:

For uplinking to the digital transponder you will need a 23 cm (1268 MHz) transmitter at about 10-25 watts and steerable medium gain antennas in both Azmuith and Elevation. These can be mounted on the same boom as the 70 cm recieve antenna.

You will also need a computer with programs that we will supply later to copy our satellite. As an added bonus you can communicate with the same equipment to the UoSats and Kitsats which are already in orbit.
