The UKSEDS 2000 Conference - Europe in Space

The 12th UKSEDS Space Conference, entitled "Europe in Space", will be held
at the University of Manchester on 11/12 November 000. The conference, held
annually, aims to bring like-minded young people together with leading
figures from academia and the pace industry. Speakers at this year's
conference include Dr Paul Murdin of the British National Space Centre and
Prof. Ian Morison of Manchester University. The keynote speaker will be a
European Astronaut, subject to confirmation by the European Space Agency.

In addition to the lecture series there will be presentations,
demonstrations, workshops and an exhibition. The leading universities and
space companies will have stands present at the exhibition, providing an
opportunity to gain careers advise and find out about the many opportunities
that exist in the UK and Europe.

A provisional timetable is provided below as well as a list of exhibitors.

specific questions can be addressed to the conference organiser, Ronan Wall,
